Save-the-Date for the Power of Transformation virtual fundraiser
with ACT on December 5 from 7-8pm CST.

Join us in celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Antiracism Community of Transformation (ACT), formerly known as ASDIC Metamorphosis. Our evening will feature a special guest Rev. Dr. Tom Duke who has been a supporter, advisor, and trusted friend of many years in building the ACT programs. Tom is well known in the Twin Cities for being instrumental in building multifaith platforms that work for social justice. Stay tuned for more on Tom to come! Our fundraiser will host testimonials and stories of how antiracism study and dialogue has transformed participants in the last 20 years of service to our community! You won't want to miss this!

In celebrating our 20th anniversary, our goal is to raise $ 20,000! – transitioning into the next 20 years! Will you join us in supporting antiracism training for the next generation of transformational leaders?

Paramount to its twenty-year mission is the creation of a relational, antiracist community and the building of capacity within communities to organize and sustain antiracism awareness and action. Margery Otto and Okogyeamon developed the ASDIC curriculum in 2004 with the letters “ASDIC” standing for Antiracism Study-Dialogue Circles. They believed that dialogue and storytelling could be transformative.
The ACT community has been meeting the needs of this vision by offering our ASDIC circle and themed training to healthcare institutions, faith communities, educators, nonprofit organizations, government bodies, and profit businesses. In these settings, we have brought people together to understand our shared legacy of US internal colonization and systemic racism. We invite you to see the testimonials and client list provided on our ACT website (https://www.antiracismcommunity.org/clientlist).
We hope you will save the date and join us for an evening of community and connection as we envision the next 20 years. Don’t forget to register here for the event!
Best wishes for the holidays!
In gratitude,
ACT Staff
